Our General Insurance activities commenced in 1968 when Jim Wilson, then an AMP agent, started servicing his life insurance customers with General Insurance products. Professional Insurance Agencies was formed in 1970 and has since developed into Professional Insurance Agencies Pty Ltd, the company that trades today. Over the years, the business has continued to grow and has witnessed many changes within the insurance industry, particularly the way our staff have developed personally along with changes to general insurance products and the way advice is now given.

Our staff have general insurance industry experience ranging up to 40 years. Over the years, we have serviced thousands of customers and settled claims worth many millions of dollars for events such as flood, storm, cyclone and fire. Our customer service team have diverse backgrounds, allowing them to deliver quality General Insurance Advice and Service.

Our culture is based on core values of integrity, respect, commitment and teamwork.  We understand that little things count for so much and as such, we are committed to delivering these values from the initial quoting stages to the event of a claim.
